Select XL units may be able to accommodate boats, RVs and other larger vehicles. However, fit depends on more than the size of the unit — vehicle dimensions, door clearance and the turning radius required to enter the unit all need to be considered.

Are your units heated through the winter?
Yes. Every unit at our Caledon location is insulated and heated, so temperature-sensitive items like electronics, furniture, and vehicles stay protected without you paying for full climate control you don’t need.
Do I need a long-term lease to rent a unit?
No. We rent on a minimum 4-week basis, so you can stay as long as your situation calls for and adjust or end your rental without being locked into a fixed term.
Can I access my unit outside office hours?
Yes. Unit access is available 24/7, so you can get to your belongings on your own schedule.
Is my stored property insured?
We offer insurance coverage up to $25,000. If you’re storing higher-value items, it’s worth reviewing whether that coverage fits what you have in the unit. Proof of insurance and ownership may also be required for some vehicle storage.
Can I store an RV or boat at UltraStor Caledon?
Potentially. Select XL units may accommodate boats, RVs and other larger vehicles, but suitability depends on the vehicle dimensions, unit door clearance and the turning radius required to access the unit.
We recommend contacting our team or visiting the facility with your vehicle before renting so we can help confirm whether a suitable space is available.
Do you offer help moving items into my unit?
We don’t provide staff assistance with moving belongings, but we do supply a small number of complimentary hand trucks and dollies, and we’re glad to recommend local movers if you need extra hands on move-in day.
Can I use my storage unit to work on my business?
Some light business use may be permitted, but storage units cannot be used as full-time workshops or workspaces. Automotive detailing, mechanical work and activities that create excessive noise, odor or disruption are not permitted.
For safety, unit doors must remain fully open whenever someone is inside the unit. If you’re unsure whether your intended use is permitted, please speak with our team before renting.
Are there items I can't store?
Yes. Food and perishable goods, illegal items, hazardous or flammable materials, and other prohibited goods cannot be stored at UltraStor. Items that may attract pests or rodents are also strictly prohibited to help keep the facility clean and protect all customers’ belongings.
