UltraStor storage wants its clients to know how the storage process works, so they can have an amazing self-storage experience. Here are answers to some of our most commonly asked questions!
Do I need a reservation?
With UltraStor, you don’t need to make a reservation. Though it might be better if you have one so you can save time on the move-in day.
What sizes of self-storage units do you have?
Our unit sizes range from 25 square feet to 400 square feet. To find out the cost of each unit, kindly talk to our certified storage consultants.
Is there any difference between indoor and outdoor units?
Indoor units are protected from the elements, and they tend to have broad hallways (as well as elevators in multi-story properties). Outdoor units are typically on one level, and offer the convenience of drive-up access. For vehicle storage, we provide indoor storage.
Does UltraStor provide a lock or does anyone else have a key?
Disc-style locks are required at our facilities for added security. We recommend that you purchase a lock on site, though you can bring your own if it meets the specification requirements. With either option, only you have the key.
Am I renting the space month to month or am I on a lease?
There is no lease with UltraStor. Our services are based on User Agreements, so you can renew your rent weekly and pay every 4-weeks for convenience.
Does UltraStor send monthly invoices?
Will your staff help me move in to my storage unit?
Unfortunately, our staff cannot assist you. However, we provide complimentary hand trucks and dollies for your convenience. Additionally, we can recommend a reliable mover for professional moving, though many people prefer to work with friends and family members.
Will you accept packages for me if I can’t be there?
Yes, we will gladly accept courier deliveries! Contact one of our storage specialists for further details.
My home insurance doesn’t cover storage; do you offer insurance?
Yes. Your insurance is covered in the rent up to coverage of $25,000.
When can I access my unit?
You can access your unit throughout all 7 days of the week, 24 hours a day.
Do you have heated and unheated units?
All of our units are heated.
What are your office hours?
Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am – 6:30pm, and Saturday and Sunday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
What is the difference between office hours and access hours?
During access hours, our clients can use their gate code to access their storage unit. During office hours, our certified storage consultants are available to provide in-person customer services, like responding to questions, accepting rental payments, selling supplies, and other duties.
Is there power in your units?
Select units at our Caledon location have access to power outlets. Contact one of our storage consultants for details.
What is the height of the ceilings?
They are generally 8 feet. Contact our storage consultants for measurement details on our premium XL units.
What happens if I don’t pay my rent on time?
Payment is always due in advance. Late fees and penalties will be incurred as per the agreement. Upon signing the Use Agreement, all terms and conditions will be fully explained.
